I be going to Texas on 23rd this month...... it is a mix feeling.... one part i am glad because i get to travel but on the other hand because of the work i be facing.. well anyway dont want to complaint that much afterall i get to go right?... so make best use of it...

I need to borrow a camera and a card reader! anyone?

Kitchen table top is 50% complete. More progress will carry on. My partner will work tomorrow as well as subsequent work doesn't involve knocking so can be done on weekend..

Painting should be starting tomorrow as well or tonight. I think they are working tonight as well.

Overall progress I would say 70%

How to minimize Windows Live Messenger in Windows 7 system tray

I know it is very annoying have Live Messenger appear on the task bar even you minimize it. What you can do is to minimize it to system tray is by following the easy step below

1) exit or close your live messenger
2 ) go the path C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger\
3) right click on msnmsgr.exe
4) click properties
5) click compatibility
6) choose Run this program in Vista or Vista SP2

and OK and start your live messenger again

Friday, while surfing the Internet... the connection suddenly gone down at 3am... although I am about to sleep but I got frustrated and decide to call TM to solve the issue

At first the laptop show it is connected to the Internet but I am unable to surf... so after I call TM I decide to upgrade my old crappy Vista to Windows 7...

It has been second day I am using Win7 on my laptop.. although I am using Win7 for pass a year at my office but using it on my own laptop is so much different.. maybe is because I being using Vista on my laptop all the while...

Well to sum it up, it is more user friendly.. nice GUI,, better graphic better sound.. don't know why.. maybe new drivers....

ARP 2010 Bday Part 2

Got a call from Joyce this morning that she want to have dinner me .. and she doesn't want to tell me the place... and that make me more suspicious..

So she came and pick up to the other side of Klang where she stay... which make me more suspicious that after dinner she need to drive me back which is kinda far for her... so I just tag along....

We ended up at a place call BASIC STORY... a cafe own by a young Malay chap. @ setia alam..
surprising that the rest of the gang is also there.... teck seng, bernard, barry and alicia....
So we did our order.. well the ambiance of the place is nice... got very nice deco... got to know from Joyce that the owner is actually an architect. I order Hawaiian Grill Chicken and Ice latte (hazelnut).. it was nice for the grill chicken.. the latte was so so .....

Didn't expect that there will be any cake.. but there is.. Joyce ordered cup cakes.. it was nicely decorated and we had post a lot of funny pic.... but using Joyce camera.. so I guess she will post up in facebook soon.

ARP 2010 Bday

today is the Eve of my Bday..... and ahh my teammate wanted to give a surprise lunch and cake.. but then the organizer sent meeting invite... so not so much about the surprise...we had lunch at Q Thai .. a Thai restaurant at Cyberjaya... we ordered 2 set lunch.... it have mango chicken, tom yam soup, asam fish, butter prawn, vege, butter prawn... and i order a coconut drink for myself....Well the taste of the food was nice but sadly the ingredient that they use is not fresh.. the fish and prawn is really disappointing........ cant beat the Thai food I had at Thai express last week at Pavilion.At the end of the lunch, we were given a desert which taste like cigarette... i wonder why.... i guess the best food was the coconut water and the cake from secret recipe

Later evening I was rushing to client house to check the work progress... it looks good and I still need to go to check more often. Then I got a call from from a very very close friend that i care dearly..... She ask for a dinner.. well I expected she want to treat me a Bday dinner.. so heading there with my clothes wet due to rain and sweat.. was wet so is kinda uncomfortable.... sorry for that...We had our dinner at Full House, Pyramid.... 1st time there.. bit suaku... seldom go out.. nice comfy place... i love the food.. it taste good and price is reasonable... :) while talking, she surprise me with a gift...which i never expect as she already bought me one last week

Sorry again as forgot to take picture. I wanted to, while driving I remind myself to take pic but then when I reach I forgot.. maybe is because of the rain.. I was soaking wet even with the damn umbrella..

Well summary

All plaster ceiling frame is up correctly....
Most of the plaster ceiling board is up still some is not as there are still some wiring need to do before cover it up.

Wiring part is mostly done. I would say another few days thing should look pretty.

lighting is 99% settle

what is left, painting, iron grill, table top, kitchen cabinet, installation of sink and hob, installation of lights and stuff.

Makan Makan Malaysia - Thai Express @ Pavillion

Went to collect my US Visa at Wisma MCA with a friend. So we decide to drop by Pavilion to have our lunch and meet up with her sister. Searching and looking for the places we end up at Thai Express. Never been there so is my first. A bit ulu.. well thats me.. hardly go out one.

The food is great! Tasty.. love it... price is pretty ok... Well to cut short I let the picture do the talking
