Trip to KK

I came back to Klang last Friday and head out to KK the next day for a trip that  I wanted to go since several years ago and never make it happen until this time. I didn't expect to see that place like KL as it wasn't my expectation as my purpose to go there is to relax and eat the food over there and visit Eunice and her family.

It is quite a tiring trip due to the flight is delayed and is really hot there. First day when I reach I didn't go out much and just hang out at Eunice house. We went to Tanjung Aru beach to have a walk and some junk food and headed back home.

The following day we went to Gaya street pasar pagi and at night we went to for supper for ikan bakar and fried dumpling. The following day we went to island for a swim /picnic activities and after that we went for food hunting. On the eve before I go home we went to entry gate to climb Gunung Kota Kinabalu. We didn't actually climb up but just walking and enjoy the cool breeze of air and then we went to find food and came back early as we are setting up stall for Eunice family at the night market. And so I went back home the next day morning.

It is pretty short as I summarized then entire 4 days in one short paragraph is because pretty much Eunice family are busy making CNY biscuits for sale and she gotta help them so I just hang out at their house which is OK as I was playing with her niece and nephew and after all my purpose is to forget about work.

I do miss KK although it is freaking hot...but the people there are nice and the lifestyle are slow and not so stress. But this trip does let me witness the amazing bond that Eunice family has. Their family relationship are so strong and loving. It is something I appreciate and I hardly see that in my own family.

Well that pretty much about here and here some of the picture I had during the trip.. enjoy.

2012 Chinese New Year

I about 3 weeks away to celebrate CNY and I already have a different kind of feeling about it. Being away from family and for such a long a period, it make celebrating CNY more meaningful because you start to feel the actual meaning of family reunion..... :P

Normally while I am still at Malaysia I or we always get to see our family from time to time and so the reunion dinner is just like a normal dinner. I believe for those people who still work in Malaysia but living and work at different town and hardly see their family would feel the same too.

I guess another thing I got working abroad is cherish my family more and friends.

Wishing you guys an early Happy 2012 DRAGON Chinese New Year.... Gong Xi Fa Chai

Lost someone

Death is such a taboo to talk about it and yet it is a common thing that happen all the time. But when it happen to someone dear to you, you just feel devastated. I was inform couples of hours ago that father of a great friend of mine pass away out of sudden.

I am sad and still in shock like the rest of us do as non of us expected this is happening.... I understand this kind thing happens without sign but it just too shocking as he was a healthy and active man. He is a fun guy, happy guy and nice to hang out with.

I just hope my friend and his family stay strong and continue to pray that your dad is up in heaven and in peace. I do miss him and I do wish so much I could pay my last respect to him.

I just want to say Uncle Yap SK, I am sorry I couldn't there to pay my last respect, while you are above watching us, bless your family and all of us with best of health and always safe. You will be in my prayers......
