First 3 days at Doha
For the 1st 3 days the company allocated me to stay at Hotel Grand Regency, Doha. I would say it is like King staying here. Customer service and food is perfect and it cost a bomb, the room that I stay cost about RM800 per night and each meal at the hotel is about RM150 and also Internet access of RM100 per day.. pheww lucky is all paid by company.....
Japan Earthquake affect Toyota car quality
I didn't know that recent Japan earthquake have so much impact until it hit the quality of Toyota car. Yesterday my mom a month old Toyota Vios front bumper drop off by itself. There are no accident or any kind.
This is so damn embarrassing... and pure BULLSHIT !!!!

New tools in Blogger
Blogger have add a new UI for composing a post. I love it especially the UI for upload pictures and now you can also add location to each post. Now, this get me cite to post more haha.
I am finally here......

I am finally able to post this after a while........ For those who have know there isn't the need for me to tell you... for those who just follow this story. well I currently reside at Doha, Qatar for quite a while now. I have not talk about this out loud because I have nothing is really confirm even while I am here and so I plan to keep this low.
Life so far is OK. Work wise is like normal.. but at time you will find some weird stuff that will make you experience some culture shock! Things real slow here. when I say thing is pretty much everything. Getting approval, this and that.... but I admit some of the process are pretty fast which I am impress.
So on this first post about Qatar I just keep it brief. Qatar is twice as big as Singapore. It has world 3rd largest natural gas reserve about 910 trillion cubic tons which world largest natural gas producer. So Qatar is not rich in oil but somehow when people talk about Middle East (ME) they relate it to oil.
From Wikipedia, Qatar oil able to continue running for about another 4 decades but I not sure about the natural gas but I am sure it sure can last quite some time. Maybe that is why the Emir is trying to shift the natural business of Qatar by opening up the trade and welcoming foreign investor. To diversify their source of income, as you can see the recent years there are so much development in Doha. The government want to make it as tourist spot and financial district which I think it is a success but not so much as a tourist spot... because is BORING here.
There are tons of foreign company here and a lot of are joint venture with QP where QP is the major stakeholder. Foreign investor such as Shell, Conoco Philips, ExxonMobil and some other China petroleum company are here. Most company is own my QP which also the Government as all big shot company are own by them just like Malaysia....
The different from Malaysia, Qatar government really take care of their citizen. Foreigner are not allow to purchase property except for certain area which the price a sky high, nothing below a million. And so you probably won't see any riot happen here like Egypt.
People are are super rich, you can see those super cars on the road like everyday unlike Malaysia you only see them once a while but that also a problem they drive like crazy! No indicator light while turning and the rules the road. Don't get into an accident with the locals as you only end up be the looser.
I guess this is all for now. I will post more when the time comes.
