Makan Makan in Qatar - Nandos
Decided to walk to Al Sadd to top up my prepaid and visit Honda showroom, end up I got my prepaid top up but the salesman at Honda is on leave. So decided to walk around the street which I find nice... It wasn't that far from where I am staying about 2KM.. So while walking suddenly my mouth feel itchy and decide to find something to eat, there are several Lebanese food, KFC, Fried Fish shop and I end up in Nandos. I have been tempting to eat Nandos since I am here because I need to taste some spicy food. :) Among all the Nandos I have been, this is best decorated Nandos outlet. Service is good and food quality is excellent.
I finished quarter bottle of the Garlic peri peri sauce :) |

Frequency
How does frequency change a person life? What is frequency? Frequency is a measurement of an activity that repeating itself, whether with your physical action or just by thinking of it.
The constant thinking of what you want and the enormous desire will help you to get what you want. Block out all negative thinking... Stay positive. The world is what you think and what is created in your mind.
It take a lot of practice as it is hard to do but practice practice practice and focus, that is what I am doing now.
Don't think about the PAST, Don't worry about the FUTURE, focus on the PRESENT
Feel GRATITUDE of what you have now as there is more than enough in the UNIVERSE.

Renting Apartment in Qatar
Life is getting better? I am wishing for it and aiming for it everyday. Well I think it is because today I walk to the bank to settle my credit card stuff and on the way back I pass through a lot of apartment and somehow took the decision and went in one by one just to ask if there is a room to rent. Normally I didn't do that because I thought all building is managed by property agent and I only get to see the room when I make appointment with them.
Due to my desperation of getting a room I just went into all the building around the place I am currently now. I didn't even expect I would do this as those building look high class and to my surprise they do have people standby in the building to accept walk in inquiry which I found much better than dealing with property agent because so far my experience with them they have shown me an average place.
So back to my search, I found a hotel / apartment just behind the place I am staying now. It is clean, nice, it is a semi studio with a small kitchen and full hotel facilities such as cafe, gym, swimming pool, sauna, steam room, pool, free WiFi, utility bill included and best of all massage center.. *wink* but one got to be aware most massage parlor in Qatar doesn't allow female to massage a male so you might get a man touching your thigh haha.. Only place I know now there is a female massage is at Sharq Village and Spa, have not try it yet because it is 500 bucks an hour.
Anyway back to the topic there are several other building I have check it out and all of them are not bad and seriously it did change the way how I hunt for a house also maybe I am doing it at the right time because normally during summer everything is on sales even house rental so it is best time to shop for houses to rent and branded stuff.
So my advise to you who are reading this, don't just depend on searching info from the Internet. Walk if possible or drive around and if you pass by the area you like, just walk in and ask them and you still able to negotiate a good price with them.

Microsoft SCCM - Tips & Tricks
Just want to share or save this as a reminder for myself about some info I got during my last SCCM OSD workshop.
SCCM OSD uses a lot of VBS and query on the WMI. You can find out the WMI property by running wbemtest .
Another thing is you can extract machine driver and import it into SCCM drivers node by using this tools Double Driver at www.boozet.org
That is all. :)

R.I.P. to Macho Man aka Randy Savage
One of the best WWF wrestler I ever know. Was watching the synopsis of his life in WWE and it really bring back my childhood memory watching WWF with my dad and it is so funny to see my dad get so excited when those guys beating up each other. Those days wrestling is real, they really trash their body like no business. Wrestling now is a bit fake and only once a while they really fight. Well Macho Man you are the best.
Car Price in Qatar
Went to walk around Toyota showroom to do some survey on car price and just want to share it here.
Toyota Camry 2.4 = QR85,000
Toyota Aurion 3.5 V6 = QR104,000
Toyota Altis 1.8= QR74,000
Toyota Vios 1.5 = QR66,000
Toyota Zellas 2.5 = QR 104,000
Nissan Maxima 3.5 V6 = QR100,000
Nissan Altima Coupe 3.5 V6 = QR90,000
There are more to come so I will edit this post from time to time until I bought a car. So many car to choose from and all is so tempting especially those high CC car. where can you get a 3.5V6 for 100K. With this kind of engine, these car would cost more than RM 300K. Well I need to discipline myself as I need to cut down my monthly budget even it is so damn tempting especially the Toyota Zellas.
I have to meet two condition now which is getting a car under 75K which is the interest free loan I am eligible to get from my company and also I trying to keep the car around 50K to 60K so my monthly installment is around 1300. I felt it not worth it to buy such an expensive car because I probably spend 3 hours in my car per week and the car spend about 50 hours under the hot sun. Guess you know what I mean.
I narrow down to few cars now
Nissan Latio Hatchback - Not to bad but the interior sucks unless I wait for 2012 model
Toyota Vios - Last resort
Mazda 3 Hatchback - Probably end up with this
Honda.... nothing.. Jazz is way too small
I need to discipline, discipline ..... I just need a car to get me from A to B.

Internal Affairs
This is one or the only best movie that I won't get bored watching again and again. Since it is air on the cinema on 2002, there is one theme song will start to play when a sad scene happened where there is a sweet women humming. Since she is humming there is no way I can find the song via Google because there is no lyrics.
So being free as I am now, I continue Google and search for it via YouTube and thanks to a good citizen, he blog about Internal Affairs soundtrack and named the title of the song. Without wasting a second I search for it in YouTube and I got it. Is the most sad song I ever heard and is not a good time to listen if you are emotional and sad as I bet you will brush your tears away. So I got the singer and song at last
The beautiful voice belong to Fiona Fung and the title is Goodbye Policemen, or Goodbye Master to be more accurate is "再見警察" in Mandarin. Check out the song below. To the person who make this video.. salute you as you put up a nice picture of the cast. I love Andy Lau and Tony Leung acting. They are so into the movie as it is part of their life. Kudos to them

Another song which is also nice in the movie is an oldies I think, sang by Tsai Chin - The Forgotten Time.
The Hollywood copied this movie as well, it is call the The Departed. Is not too bad but still it can't beat the acting and storyline of Internal Affairs.
Washboard Abs
Washboard abs also known as ribbed abs or better known as six packs abs. Being too free at home I tends to go to the gym whenever is possible and when I am no lazy and watching World Fashion channel on the TV all the time somehow lure me in getting flat abs. Something possible but difficult..
My friend bought me a shirt as my farewell gift. M size.. I was like hmmm can I fit in? Well I could, the shoulder fit nicely but problem appear when I slowly button up from the top moving to the bottom. When it reach my belly area there is when I know damn I got a fat belly and I have to shrunk my tummy to feel comfortable. I am still wearing that shirt as some kind of reminder to get rid of the fats around the belly. And I want to fit in that shirt comfortable without holding my breath every now and then.
The hardest part of fats to get rid is tummy and inner thigh as this is where most fat is stored and that is the area where the least movement or activity and it even get worst if a person doesn't exercise at all.
Some of the quick tips I got from the article I read are as per below;
1) Plenty of water - if you are in a hot country and you exercise, you need to increase the volume of water intake
2) No sugar- I presume this is one of it as they mention stay away from coffee and fruit juice and can drinks which is COKE. This is difficult as I always on coffee and teh tarik.
3) Don't just limit to one exercise, do abs exercise and also cardio and weight training to break the muscle in order for muscle growth. The more muscle mass you have it increase your metabolism which means you will burn fats even when you are sleeping.
4) Last I think is eating right, lots of protein ONLY if you exercise as too much unused protein will cause gout. Lots of vegetables and fruits but you only take excess of this item if you are extensively doing exercise else is recommended to eat in a moderate volume.
Overall I just want to have a flat tummy, 6 pack or not hmm not important because having fat at the belly also means you are having visceral fat also known as organ fat where the fat wraps your internal organ and bad for health. You can find more information via this LINK

It is getting hotter
A/C doesn't really help. I have set my room A/C to 15 degrees but it still feel like 32 after the A/C having been blasting the entire night.
I barely can walk out during the day as even the wind is hot and so summer is here and people tends to be lazy and this will continue until Puasa month which is even better as entire country is working only half day and of course you get mega sales everywhere as the shop operator want to lure people to come out from their house to buy things.
I have not been to one with mega sales but probably soon and blog about it when I experienced it.

Ever having problem deleting IE9 history even you have initiate Delete browsing history from the tools menu? Yeah I have the same problem and found the solution, the main cause is that I have turn on the AutoComplete function when it first pop up. So the remediation to this problem is
1) Go to Internet Options
2) Select the Content tab
3) Under the AutoComplete settings
4) Uncheck Address Bar and click on Delete AutoComplete history.

past PRESENT future
Being alone here for months have make wonder sometime why I am here. There are time I would just feel to pack up and go home but thought lives for a short while.
I constantly remind myself to always think positive, thinking about my future in terms of career and financial and of course I always have my uncle Stephen posting motivation words to remind me to stay think of the good.
Never ever think about the past, the mistake or whatever negative energy that it is generating as if you think about it too much is will make you depress and haunt you. Yes you learn from mistake but you don't think about it.
Focus on what you want to do at the PRESENT and let the future set its own course by what you are doing NOW. Focus and continual determination is so much important. Everyday I have plan to tell myself what I want to do, what I want to archive, what I want in my life. I always bring positive energy into my life.
I know it is hard but I am learning and trying. I was watching a YouTube clip of a Korean Talent Show, there is a guy who have bad childhood and never got a chance to go to school and he learn singing from the street. He kept going and never give up despite his unfortunate and when he sang on the stage.. WOW what a remarkable voice. For the first few seconds I was wondering in my head has he start singing already?
The video really amaze me not only his talent but his story. It reminded how lucky I am, how much I should appreciate the chance to work here and make the best of it. I should and I will..
:) Love you guys.. take care and think positive.
Buddhism and many of its associated paradigms emphasize the importance of living in the present moment — being fully aware of what is happening, and not dwelling on the past or worrying about the future. This does not mean that they encourage hedonism, but merely that constant focus on one's current position in space and time (rather than future considerations, or past reminiscence) will aid one in relieving suffering. They teach that those who live in the present moment are the happiest.
Watch the video, listen to his story and his voice and don't shift your focus to the pretty lady judge OK?

Tight Budget
I should be sleeping.. is 1130 PM or 430 AM in Malaysia.. I gotta get up by 5AM to work but I couldn't sleep. Probably because I found and song and being repeating for 30 minutes now. 张雨生 - 我期待. Very nice song.
Anyway, I only get to stay at my company accommodation for probably another 5 weeks therefore I am gearing up to search for a house. Searching for a house is a not a difficult part but searching for a good one and under budget is a tough one. There are apartment as low as 3000 per month but it is either far or some facilities is missing. I found one today about 5 minutes away from my office, Doha Suite 2. It is about 5500 per month and the apartment looks alright. One bedroom, water and electric bill included, Internet and kitchen as well. It was perfect until the problem arise lack of parking, that apartment location is somewhere behind an alley I bet it is dark at night and impossible for me to walk out buy stuff and the right and left side of the building looks very run down and looks like a drug addict place but it is not. :) Well there is a price to pay for a cheap place but there are cheap and good location apartment I just need to have the time to search entire Doha :( with that, moving out means I need to get a car for better mobility around the city. So right now I am trying to keep my monthly of everything under QR9500 per month which is possible but difficult.
Some said why are you so save, spend it la since you came all the way to work and you should enjoy a bit. Well I am but in a bit more moderate way, as I still keeping my purpose of coming here to work. Main thing to earn as much money as possible within the shortest time and go back home to make good use of the money. Well maybe this is my habit since I am at Malaysia so hmm just stick with it.
If you are spending like crazy and not much saving left then what is the purpose you are here? Enjoy? yeah you could but it is not the right time. There is still a long time to go, I know life is short enjoy today like there is no tomorrow. But tomorrow you still need to eat, you can't live your life like a Malay proverb kais pagi makan pagi, kais petang makan petang.
I do enjoy.......... sometimes and I am doing OK so far so no worries. :) KHALAS!

Minor revamp on my blog
I removed two ad space on my blog as I feel it is not necessary. I am not a pro blogger which attracts tons of visitors and earning from my blog ad so far is only 16 cents. :)
After all the blog ad payout depends on the number of click. How many of us click on those ad anyway? I know I didn't so I just want keep my blog to the minimum ad.
Actually I have changed the URL of my blog but end up I change it back :P because I need to inform everyone that I know and is just a lot of mess. :P

Makan Makan in Qatar - Turkey Central
From my previous post Guys Nights Out, after bowling session we headed for supper and we leave our choices to Mohammed after all he is a Qatari and he know what is best. Guess what he really knows. So we went to a place called Turkey Central located at Al Mirqab Al Jadeed St., I would say is the best food I had so far in Doha and yet it is cheap or should I say reasonable. The food is authentic arabic food and fantastic. The dinner / supper cost each of us QR26 which is good. Problem is with PARKING. Too many people!
This is appetizer, not sure what it is called but is various type of cream, olive, tomatoes kind of dressing to be eaten with bread. |
Local bread and one of the best I had, very fresh and very soft |
Half grill chicken, this is superbly good! The chicken meat is juicy and tender. Chicken in Middle East are different compare to Malaysia. |
The Secret
The law of attraction is the scientific name for the law of love. If you focus on something negative, the law of attraction thinks you love it, and it gives it to you. The law of attraction doesn't question what you love, so when you focus on anything, or talk about it, the law of attraction's response is that you love it and you want it! - Rhonda Byrne
thing will be better......
My mom got mugged at Klang Parade today for the second time, even so I can't do much if I am Klang but I felt really bad for not able being with her. She is alright just got shock and our so good fellow Malaysian only stand to watch and added with the stupidity of police jurisdiction is just make you so piss off. I wanted to say so much negative thing here but just trying to be positive... as long my mom is safe and not injured.... To the robbers.. just one word I dedicate to you .. KARMA....
To our Government... one word to you. stupidity... Over here in Middles East, they have more expat, foreign workers their crime rate is so low. You may think those hard labor worker earn a lot? No.. their month salary is about RM 500 to RM 800 with the high living expenses in Middle East you can imagine how hard is for them to survive yet they don't commit crime.
