Thing to consider

I won't recommend people that I know to work at Qatar if they are not prepare to face the differences of culture and rules unless they are desperate for money. Those I do not know you may take this as reference and do as you wish. :)

Working at Qatar or should I say coming to Qatar is not as easy as most people think. You have to get all sort of crazy thing ready before you are granted the permission to enter and what worst than this is getting out from this country is equal the effort.

On normal occasion, if you want to take leave during work and travel out from the country you have to get exit permit also known as Kafala system. Although until now I didn't have much trouble with it but the problem come when you plan to leave for good. It is not as easy as hand in your resignation letter and leave the country. There are all sort of task you need to complete before they allow you to step out from this country. I think I have mentioned those task in my previous post.. I can't recall which one now..... This is just my point of view.... Don't follow exactly what I say and there is Internet and there is Google so do more research on it.

If you want to be here, I would recommend come as bachelor and don't commit anything. Although car is cheap but get the cheapest car even people laugh at you but don't give a fuck to those laughed at you as in the end you pray to God you did the right thing.

Of course, like anything in this world there are pro and cons or else people wont travel to oversea to work if their home country is the best. I not claiming everything is bad in Qatar but I am just saying if you plan to leaving your home and family for a little bit more of money then think about it wisely. You have to weight the money you getting vs the time you lost with your family and friends. You do the math.

If you plan to be here, set a goal, a target or time frame you plan to be here and what to do with the money you earn. Keep the cost low but still maintain a healthy lifestyle, don't just eat bread 24x7 and once you hit your goal, plan to retire if your age permit else move to another country to gain new experience.

Life is good. Live it.
