Several post ago, I blog about my time I have at UNOC at QNCC (too much acronym) and during that time I met with a Qatari, Mr Haroon which is co founder of ILoveQatar.net. First impression of him is he is very humble and friendly and always smile. He is probably among the few friendly Qatari that I know other than Mr Q (sorry I forgot his full name as he is too famous with his Mr Q identity. Perhaps a Qatari batman?), another Qatari and also a co founder of ILoveQatar.net.
It is rare to meet and know a friendly local or I should get out more and engage with them yet or perhaps is one in a million or wait there is only about 300K of them in Qatar :) But in general, not many people will run into a Qatari and established a friendship out of nowhere, maybe because of the gap? or some other reason which I have no clue.
But anyhow like many people have said never judge a book by its cover and it could also mean never judge the entire community because of a few sour experience you had as out of the thousands there are still a few of them who are genuine sincere and nice. Kudos to Mr Haroon and Mr Q for their humbleness and friendliness towards all level and races of people in Qatar. I hope ILoveQatar.net expand and both the co founder participate in all public event to show the hospitality of a Qatari and as a role model for the younger generation.
Extension of compassion and kindness
Compassion and kindness should be extended to everyone and not just the whom we love, not just the one who are less fortunate but also all sort of level of society in this work for example prisoner or the person who have hurt you. In every human being there is a good and kindness in them but most of them time we do not see it as we were blind by hatred and anger.

2nd chance
Been doing a lot of silly and dumb thing for last few years and really hope able to have a 2nd chance to make everything right. Despite, we were told to learn from mistake but sometime you feel that you should just did it right at the very FIRST time.

2nd Anniversary
It is exact 2 years I worked here.. wow time flies and so as age.... I have another 365 days to go before I make up my final decision until then it is another 365 days of endurance.
Detox
I have been planning to do detox for several month now and Sunday I thought I want to start and I did and I also failed badly. Mainly I couldn't stand the hunger at noon but I have not given up although I still failed today.
That was that but I want to share what I did or plan my detox meal which is pretty strict.
Breakfast
Organic O Forest Liver Detox from BMS Organics
and about 30 minutes later
Nutri Bifidus is a probiotic which help to boost your body metabolism.
Lunch
Can be anything as long there isn't any carbohydrate or oil in the food but you can take some raw olive oil in salad dressing. I normally take banana, oat + milo (some), 1 or 2 piece of brown bread or full grain bread. If you are still hungry take more banana.
Dinner
For dinner try to get something light especially when your dinner time is after 7. For me I will take fruit juice which is a combination of 6 apples, 2 carrot and 1 big lemon. This will able to give 2 full cup of juice and as usual if still hungry then take banana.
If you are into full detox you can do this for a week and after that you can resume your normal diet but still maintain some stuff such as the breakfast and eat light at dinner if you can. To put it simple, less oil (means no fried chicken all the time) and less carbohydrate.
You can also take Amway Double X as your daily and Omega 3 as your daily supplement.
Will try again tomorrow for my detox and hope I can continue this until weekend or at least 5 days

MAXIS 012 - Mobile Internet Awareness UPDATE
Right after I post the previous blog, I login Maxis self service portal and found their live chat. Just to try it out if I could get hold of someone and I did. So I explain to the virtual agent that sit behind the desk as how I put it in the previous. And he or she ask me to hold and finally they say they going to waive the charges on my next month bill. So it is quick and I am happy with the solution.
I would highly recommend people like me that work at oversea to use MAXIS LIVE CHAT to resolve any issue they had or even can ask them to make any transaction like when you normally call 123.
Somehow people sit behind the desk are more customer centric? hmmmmm anyway lets wait if the waiver appear on my next bill.

MAXIS 012 - Mobile Internet Awareness
While I was in Malaysia not too along ago, I subscribe for 2 months 500MB mobile Internet. During that time I told the agent that I only be at Malaysia for two months and I do not want to continue when I leaving and the agent told is fine that I can cancel it anytime without further explanation.
So the day came and I cancel my subscription and the agent say OK without anymore further explanation on how the billing is going to be. Today I got my bill was surprise I was charged over RM300 for mobile Internet.
I try to figure out and I think I know why and it is because I stop the subscription before the monthly bill cycle end and they took average of the reading for the subscription and the remaining usage is charge per use. What I am pissed off is that this wasn't explained and the agent happily say it is OK to be cancel anytime. They could have explain it and I would not have cancel it until the very last day of my billing date.

UNOC- United Nation Of Comedy
Yesterday I volunteer for the event UNOC under ILoveQatar as a volunteer. Pretty much there isn't much thing to do other than usher people around and with that we are able to watch the show for free. I would say it was hilarious and good show although there were some part I didn't get as the comedian blast the joke in Arabic but most of all is understandable. :) I didn't took much photo although there are many hot and pretty ladies around. There is one picture I want to share which is the theater we are at. It was a 3 tier theater and the lightning and the setup was beautiful..
